Dr. Charles Zeiders has logged thousands of hours of psychotherapy in private practice, addressing many clinical situations and client populations.

He earned a Bachelor of Arts Degree in English in 1985 from Elizabethtown College. He earned his Master of Science in Counseling and Human Relations in 1990 from Villanova University. He earned his Doctor of Psychology Degree in 1996 from Immaculata College.

Since 1997, Dr. Zeiders has maintained a lively psychology practice, treated diverse populations, and consulted and lectured widely.

His patients enjoy a combination of Jungian psychology, Cognitive-Behavioral Therapy, and spirituality. Dr. Zeiders treats patients in the midst of Christian spiritual transformation.

His Post-doctoral Fellowship at the Center for Cognitive Therapy, University of Pennsylvania, was under the auspices of Dr. Aaron Beck and other psychotherapists. This post-doctoral platform launched him into a series of credentials including:

Dr. Zeiders is Board Certified by the National Board for Certified Counselors (NBCC)

He has lectured at professional psychology conferences in Italy, and the Czech Republic, and accepted invitations to study Christian spirituality and medical care in the United Kingdom.

In 2005, the Anglican Bishop of Trinidad and Tobago invited Dr. Zeiders to teach seminars regarding the medical realty of spirituality.

Dr. Zeiders has presented throughout the United States on such topics as dreams, mind/body psychology, psychopathology, cinema, social justice, addiction, alternative medicine, mood disorders, anxiety, trauma, and Jungian psychology.

He has taught introductory courses in psychology and human development to undergraduates and advanced courses in psychopathology and psychometrics. He maintains an Adjunct Instructorship at Eastern University in St. David’s, Pennsylavnia.

Faculty for One Body/One Spirit Seminars, LLC, Dr. Zeiders’s seminars explicate psychoneuroimmunology, Qui Gong, Jungian psychology, Christianity, Taoism, and comparative religious healing psychologies.

Elected to the Board of the Association of Christian Therapists (ACT), Dr. Zeiders chaired the Psychotherapists Group. To interface Christian healing spirituality with evidence-based psychotherapy, he designed The Best Practices Psychotherapy Initiative—an educational program available to psychotherapists at annual international conferences. He served in national leadership from 2005 to 2009. He continues in an advisory role as emeritus Chair.

In 2009, Dr. Zeiders was retained as Senior Clinical Advisor by investors in a leading-edge, for-profit addiction treatment institute with intent to globalize. Dr. Zeiders continues to advise the Global Addictions Recovery Network in this regard.

In 2010, the Pennsylvania Psychological Association Political Action Committee voted Dr. Zeiders onto the Board of Directors.

During his tenure as Clinical Director of Christian Counseling and Therapy Associates of the Main Line, Dr. Zeiders has treated general outpatients, geriatric populations, at-risk inner-city youths, patients in the criminal justice system, professionals, entrepreneurs, military and police, and unusual issues that require creative clinical management, broad expertise, and high levels of discretion.

As former Medical Staff Psychologist in the Main Line Health System, Bryn Mawr Hospital, Department of Psychiatry, his hospital privileges included psychotherapy, biofeedback (mind/body psychology), and psychological testing.

Of additional note is the fact that Dr. Zeiders serves on dissertation committees and maintains an active schedule of psychotherapy, consulting, and peer supervision.
